Study: "Monitoring Social Urban Development 2009"

21.01.2010 | Berlin

Modern townhouses, condominiums, and spacious lofts have been appearing around the Alter Schlachthof development area since the mid-1990s, signifying the rise of a new inner-city housing ensemble in Berlin. Many families and young people value the area's urban flair, along with the parks and other green spaces recently created in the middle of the city. A study released today backs this up: In "Monitoring Social Urban Development 2009", Eldenaer Straße places first among the city's development areas – and the number of residents with above-average income in Alter Schlachthof is increasing. We're proud to have contributed to this trend and look forward to our next project, Eldenaer Höfe in Blankensteinpark.
