Im Gründungsjahr des Vereins Handiclapped – Kultur e.V. sind nur wenige Musik-Begeisterte mit Behinderung auf Konzerte gegangen. Das wollte der Verein unbedingt ändern. Darum wurde 2009 eine eigene Band gegründet, für alle Menschen denen es durch ihr Handicap nicht möglich ist normale Konzerte zu besuchen oder sogar selbst Musik zu machen. Unter dem Namen “Handiclapped-Band” wird seitdem mit Begeisterung Rock, Pop, Schlager, HipHop, aber auch mal Chor-Gesang oder Flamenco gespielt und auf Konzerten Stimmung gemacht.

Rock music and dance workshops are offered and specialist congresses on the subject of music are held. The band can be seen in the Pfefferberg, in the Alte Feuerwache Friedrichshain and in the YAAM in Berlin.
