"THOUSAND AND ONE RAMPS" - DONATIONS FINANCED RAMPS:
The project One thousand and one ramp from the non-profit association SOCIAL HEROES e.V. wants to create access to new spaces for wheelchair users, families with prams and people with walkers. With mobile ramps, the operators of e.g. cafés, restaurants and hairdressers can provide easy and inexpensive access to their rooms. Without complex construction measures or official effort.
With the donation from cds Wohnbau, 30 new mobile ramps for Berlin can be purchased and distributed. In the coming year, these will be set up piece by piece in places of public life that were previously not wheelchair accessible.
