Youth promotion of the German Sports Aid

We are also strong in youth development.

cds Wohnbau has been supporting Deutsche Sporthilfe for years. The DSH continuously sponsors 3,800 athletes who are preparing for, achieving or have already achieved top sporting performance. Measure-related, young athletes from Olympic and Paralympic sports receive financial support in order to be able to integrate the sport into school or professional training. So far, Deutsche Sporthilfe has supported more than 45,000 athletes from over 50 sports with around 375 million euros. The sponsored athletes have achieved over 90 percent of German successes in international competitions, including well over 200 gold medals at the Olympic Games. However, sporting success means hard work: The sponsored athletes spend an average of around 60 hours a week on training, competitions, education, studies and work.
